Audiovisual Technologies
The 1st Ionian Tech Transfer Meeting is the first of a series of Tech Transfer Meetings organized by the Technology Transfer Office of the Ionian University. The aim of the tech transfer meetings is to promote research commercialization & technology transfer in the scientific fields where the Ionian University has a significant research activity.
The 1st Ionian Tech Transfer Meeting focuses on VR/AR Technologies as well as Audiovisual Technologies, which are technological fields where the academic & research community of the Ionian University has developed notable applied research activity, in several Departments (Department for Audiovisual Arts, Department of Informatics, Department of Music Studies, Department of Archives, Library Science and Museum Science, Department of Digital Media and Communication) .
A Conference & Capacity Building Experience
The Ionian Tech Transfer Meeting will offer a full-day experience of both science and tech presentations but also capacity building and networking activities.
It is a specially designed conference, with mixed participation of researchers, entrepreneurs and business representatives which combines conference presentations with capacity building, acceleration & networking activities.
The Ionian Tech Transfer Meeting will last 4 days and will include:

The 1st Ionian Technology Transfer Meeting will be held at the central campus of the Ionian University, at the historic "Ionian Academy", from October 6th to October 9th, 2022. It is organized by the university Technology Transfer Office.
